Embryonic Stem Cell

" Embryonic stem cell " is the cell in the embryo stage-fertilized for less than 14 days-may eventually differentiate into cells and tissues that make up the human body and is therefore called the “omnipotent cell” or the “almighty cell.”

Adult Stem Cell

" Adult stem cell " is extracted from cord blood (umbilical cord blood) or from a fully developed adult’s marrow or blood; a primitive cell that is at the stage right before the differentiation to cells of bone, liver, blood, or other specific organs.
